The lagos state police has arrested three traffic robbery suspects and two other suspects who specialised in stealing vehicles in Church.
According to report by the spokesperson of the command DSP Bala Elkana, following a sustained monitoring, Police operatives deployed to Ipaja area on anti traffic robbery patrol (motorcycle patrol) by the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, arrested three traffic robbery suspects namely: Hassan Lekan ‘male’ 19 Years old; Owolabi Seyi ‘male’ 18 Years old; and Ismailia Ibrahim ‘male’ 19 Years old.
Elkana further stated in his report that the suspects specialised in snatching hand bags, phones and money from unsuspecting members of the public.
“They mostly operate between 04:00am and 07:00am. Items recovered from them includes phones and bags they snatched from three different victims” Elkana said.
Police have charged the suspects to Court
