However, after drinking the said mixture, both men developed complications; and rushed to a private hospital in the Ijetu area of Osogbo.

According to the doctor, Olayiwola’s health is improving; but Adekunle gave up the ghost at the hospital.

The Osun State Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, who confirmed the death; explained that the police have arrested the prime suspect.

He said, “They reported the matter at the Oja Oba Police Division (Osogbo) on Sunday at about 11.15pm. However, the report stated that one Alfa Nureni Suleiman; gave one Olayiwola Opeyemi and Mutiu Adekunle a herbal mixture to drink.

“As a result, the duo developed complications; and admitted at a private hospital in the Ijetu area of Osogbo.

“Mutiu (Adekunle) later gave up the ghost in the same hospital; but Olayiwola is responding to treatment. Also, our operatives have visited the scene.
