Mantrac Nigeria, the authorized Caterpillar (CAT) dealer, in partnership with Caterpillar Inc., has demonstrated its ability in power generation driven by cutting-edge advancements in CAT’s power generation technology.

The firm showcased this technology when it hosted a strategic customer engagement event in Lagos.

The event which has the theme “Powering Possibilities: Maximising Efficiency, Minimising Costs, Unmatched Support with Caterpillar Gas Generators,” witnessed the launch of the new CAT G3520K natural gas generator set, crafted to address Nigeria’s growing energy needs.

Featuring increased power output, enhanced fuel efficiency, and versatile applications, the G3520K is tailored for manufacturing, utilities, agriculture, and commercial sectors.

The program included expert presentations on energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction, alongside live demonstrations and interactive discussions. These activities reinforced Mantrac and Caterpillar’s dedication to delivering reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly energy solutions.

Mantrac Nigeria’s Managing Director, Emad Adeeb, expressed gratitude to customers and emphasized the company’s customer-centric approach:
“We prioritize our customers’ needs above all else.

Listening and providing tailored solutions are the core goals of this event. Our focus remains on supporting your growth through innovative and dependable energy products.”

He also announced the launch of the new G3520K model, designed to facilitate better asset management and reduce operational challenges, aligning with the company’s commitment to continuous innovation.

Industry experts, including Ahmed Aly, Group Segment Manager for Large Electric Power, Chukwuemeka Igboanugo, Senior EP Consultant at Caterpillar, and Khaled Kurdi, Senior Reman Consultant, shared insights on advanced gas applications, upgrade solutions, and the benefits of CAT’s remanufactured products. Hicham Ait Chahdad and Roland Rahme from Caterpillar discussed the new G3500K series, emphasizing its superior efficiency and lower operational costs.

The G3520K’s upgraded performance enables quicker start-up times, higher load handling capacity, and improved response to load fluctuations. Its G2 transient capability allows it to reach maximum load 40% faster than previous models, making it an ideal choice for demanding applications.

This event underscores Mantrac and Caterpillar’s joint commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria. The introduction of eco-friendly and reliable generators like the G3520K and G3500K is set to enhance energy access and operational resilience for Nigerian businesses, especially amidst ongoing power infrastructure challenges.

During the interactive Q&A, clients lauded Mantrac and Caterpillar for their customer-first philosophy and provided valuable feedback for future collaborations. Both companies reaffirmed their dedication to delivering top-tier power solutions to support Nigeria’s economic growth and energy needs.
