The Lagos Police Command has arrested five suspects for stealing female under wears for ritual purposes.
The spokesman of the Comm DSP Bala Elkana stated that “on 10/01/2020 at about 0800hrs, acting on information, operatives from Ojo Police Station arrested one Chukwajekwu Eziigbo ‘male’ 15yrs of Ilufe area Ojo for stealing female under wears from clothesline.
The suspect confessed that for one year now, he has been stealing female under wears from different houses in Ojo and environs. That he usually hand over those stolen under wears to the following female suspects for a payment: Chidima Obietuake ‘female’ 17years old, Chikwaka Chidima Jemfe ‘female’ 17years old, Gold Enyinnaya ‘female’ 23years old and Akomas Amarachi ‘female’ 26years old, all of Ilufe area, Ojo.
The suspects have been arrested and they confessed to the commission of the crime. Detectives recovered some stolen female under wears from the suspects. Investigation is ongoing, the suspects will be charged to Court.
