Gerard Izuora  The Independent Electoral Commission has asked the National Population Commission to update it with record of dead citizens since 2015 to enable it to “sanitise’’ the voter register. Our Correspondent  Troops of 101 special Forces Battalion on Exercise Ayem Akpatuma (Cat Race) deployed at Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State swiftly responded to a distress call and supported troops at Gwamba village under attack by herdsmen on Tuesday. Despite the swift reaction to rescue the village from destruction, the notorious herdsmen set the village ablaze before the troops arrival. Our Correspondent  No fewer than 20 persons were killed on Tuesday in a fresh attack by militia men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen in four communities in Demsa Local government area, Adamawa State. The locals said the invaders attacked the communities at about 8am and set houses ablaze with property worth millions of naira destroyed. Our Correspondent  The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Tuesday released the full-year 2017 Gross Domestic Product growth rate for the country, with the economy growing by 0.82 per cent.
