In recognition of the country’s leadership in agriculture Africa, organizers of Aviana Africa has shifted focus to Nigeria where it hoped to convene a large agriculture forum that will feature latest innovations in the industry and encourage economic cooperation among nations.

The Aviana Africa which has now given birth to Aviana Nigeria has been in existence in other countries like Kenya, Uganda, India and South Africa.

According to the organizers because of the importance of Nigeria in Africa’s agribusiness and the biggest nation in Africa, Aviana Africa has decided to come to Nigeria to network the stakeholders and their products in agriculture and agribusiness to other parts of the world.

The expo will offer a unique productive B2B opportunity between the worlds leading agricultural and agribusiness stakeholders, company, farmers, government agencies, farmers associations and Non Governmental Organisations, NGOs, to formulate policies and business opportunities that will enhance the development of agriculture, encourage investment, international trade, market networking, skill acquisition and Tech-Know-How.

Key sector Associations like the Fishery Society of Nigeria, Animal Science of Nigeria, ECOWAS Farmers Association, Poultry Association of Nigeria, Crop Life Nigeria, OLAM Group International and Feed Mill Manufacturers Association of Nigeria among others are collaborating to ensure success of the event.

The forum is expected to promote business in agrochemical, agriculture input, seeds, fertilizer,equipments/tractors, agro food and raw materials.

Avian Nigerian Expo would also help build brand awareness, generate new markets, source new agents, distributors, importers and exporters and will avail over 10,000 farmers and stakeholders that have not have pre knowledge of other products and services to have access to them.

Another good feature of the event which will hold from April 25 to 26 at the University of Ibadan, will be free training of farmers, agribusiness stakeholders in agro enterprises and agro processing and agribusiness.
