The outgoing secretary general of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, Muhammad Barkido is dead.
The news of his death was announced by the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari.
Kyari confirmed Barkindo died Tuesday night at about 11 pm
