The Lagos Police Command has arrested two suspects who specialised in shop breaking and stealing.
According to spokesman of the Command, Bala Elkana, “On 13/03/2020 at about 1400hours, following a sustained monitoring detectives from Ikorodu Police Station arrested two serial burglars namely, Julius Peter ‘male’ 32years old of Akin Ogunlewe Igbogbo, Ikorodu and Paul Ozurumba ‘male’ 35years old of Block 3 Flat 7 Fashola Estate Bayeku Igbogbo Ikorodu.
“The suspects were arrested following series of shop breaking and stealing complaints received from shop owners”
“One of such cases was reported on 13/03/2020 at about 09150hrs by one Olamide Assau ‘male’ and Liasu Elizabeth ‘female’ all of No 57 Ashafa Road off Organelle road Igbogbo Ikorodu”
“Items recovered from the suspects include a large quantity of electrical fence wires, clothes, shoes, bags, native ankara, laptops among others”
“Also recovered from the suspects are shop breaking implements. The suspects have confessed to the commission of the crimes. Investigation is ongoing, the suspects will be charged to Court.
