Katsina Police Command Begins Recruitment Exercise

The Katsina state Police Command, has announced recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force has commenced.

The Command is therefore inviting applications from suitably qualified indigenes of Katsina state for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables (Recruits).

Applicants must have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force and must satisfy the following General Requirements:

Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN)

Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passes in English and Mathematics.

Must not be less than 17yrs or more than 25yrs of age.

Must not be less than 1.67m of height for men and 1.64m for females.

Must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men only).

Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of recruitment

Must not have any of the following deformities or abnormalities: speech impediment, knock knees, flat feet, bent knees, bow legs, deformed hands, defective eyesight or squint eyes, amputation of any part of the body and gross malformation of teeth or jaw.

Interested applicants must have a functional email address and National Identification Number (NIN) before login on to the website as all applications must be submitted online.

Applicants shall visit www.policerecruitment.gov.ng, fill and submit the online application form.  Also they should not forget to print completed online forms, guarantor’s forms which would be subsequently submitted at the screening center.

The online application will be opened for a period of six weeks, from 14th July to 23rd August, 2020.Applicants that meet the requirements from the online registration would be invited for physical screening at the Police Officers’ Mess, Katsina, from 24th to 30th August, 2020.  Physical screening/Examination will be conducted in line with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
