Kogi State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abdulazeez Adams has said free hypertension and diabetes tests will be conducted at the State Ministries, Office of SGS as well as the 21 Local Government Secretariats and 239 Wards.

This is aimed at encouraging early detection of certain ailments that are devastating to human health and well-being.

The Commissioner said the program is taking place simultaneously across the country and that Kogi will rigorously test the citizens between October 28 to November 3, 2024 at designated points.

He calls on Kogites to come out massively and make themselves available for free screening.

Dr Adams said he will be undergoing the tests too at his office in the Kogi State Ministry of Health, encouraging other Government officials to lead by example.
