The Police in Anambra has said that a good samaritan has found and brought a missing girl to the Police.
According to SP Haruna Mohammed, PPRO, Anambra State Police Command, “On the 30/6/2020 at about 3:pm a good Samaritan brought to Umuchu Police Station a female child of about 9 years old who simply gave her name as Chinaza Jedeofor believed to have come from Oka village, Uga in Aguata LGA of Anambra State.”
She is 3 feet tall dark in complexion and speaks only Igbo language fluently.
Mohammed said the girl could neither find her way back home nor state where she hails from, instead she keep on mentioning one Aunty Chioma repeatedly.
She is presently in the protective care of the Umuchu Divisional Anti human trafficking unit pending identification of her parent or guardian.
Police asked anyone with useful information about the found child should report at Umuchu Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639.
