Farmtech Integrated Services (Farmtech), the agrivoltaics-focused subsidiary of Komponents and Solutions Rack Limited (Komponents), has unveiled  Sunwoda Energy in Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in the country’s transition toward reliable, and sustainable energy solutions.

The product launch event, held at the Farmtech/Komponents facility in Lagos, brought together industry professionals, energy stakeholders, and partners to witness the unveiling of Sunwoda Energy’s advanced energy storage technologies designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Speaking at the event,  Mr.Kenny Ogunrombi,  Marketing Manager of Farmtech highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering innovative renewable energy solutions tailored to local needs. Sunwoda Energy’s product range have been designed for residential, commercial and industrial support applications. As a key player in Nigeria’s clean energy ecosystem, Farmtech specialises in agrivoltaics — integrating solar-powered systems into agricultural production to enhance productivity and support rural electrification.

The launch reinforces Farmtech’s broader vision of transforming traditional systems through technology-driven solutions. “Africa does not lack sunlight, arable land, or entrepreneurial capacity,” the company noted. “What is required is the strategic alignment of energy, agriculture, and innovation—an area where partnerships with Sunwoda Energy become critical”.

The event also showcased the strength of Komponents and Solutions Rack Limited, a leading distributor of tier-one renewable energy components, such as BYD Energy Storage, Victron Energy, Fronius, etc., in Nigeria. With roots dating back to 1997 and a rebranding in 2014, the company has established itself as a high-quality renewable energy solutions provider, representing global OEMs and a world-class second-level repair centre backed by strong technical expertise.

Attendees were given insights into Sunwoda Energy’s product range, including scalable battery storage systems designed to ensure seamless, reliable, clean power. The solutions are positioned to address Nigeria’s persistent energy challenges by providing efficient alternatives across multiple applications—from homes and offices to industrial facilities and microgrid deployments.

The launch also showcased a practical demonstration of Komponents’ capabilities, with the event hosted onsite at its off-grid facility. The site powers a fully functional office environment, including extensive cooling systems and an ultra-modern training infrastructure, underscoring the viability of integrated energy solutions in real-world conditions.

Through this partnership, Farmtech and Komponents aim to deepen their impact in Nigeria’s energy sector by combining premium, tier-one technologies with local expertise and training initiatives. The collaboration is expected to drive increased adoption of renewable energy solutions while supporting capacity building through technical training and industry partnerships.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to customer-focused service delivery, emphasising core values such as quality, problem-solving, accountability, and excellence in customer care.

With the successful launch of Sunwoda Energy in Nigeria, Farmtech and Komponents are positioning themselves at the forefront of the country’s evolving energy landscape — delivering solutions that power homes, businesses, and the future of sustainable development.
