Nigeria’s insurance sector is showing tremendous interest in the Almond insurance industry award as more participation has been recorded in the 2024 edition.

This year, the organisers have received a significant increase in participation from Insurance Industry Stakeholders with nominations rising to 392 compared to last year’s 101.

The 288.12 per cent increase in participation in the nomination process is a testament to the growing recognition and prestige of the Almond Awards within and outside the Insurance Industry.

Chairman Awards Panel of Judges Ms. Prisca Soares disclosed this at the Press Conference to Unveil Nominees in the 2024 Almond Insurance Industry Awards at the Maison Fahrenheit Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos on Friday 9th August, 2024.

While extending to profound pleasure to enthusiasm demonstrated by industry operators she said the award ceremony aims at recognizing and exalting individuals of excellence in the Insurance Industry.

Soares, specially commended the media for their incredible support through the extensive broadcast of the Nomination Process in their various Platforms.

“We are convened here today to reveal the nominees in the various categories. I am thrilled by the Industry’s enthusiastic response to this year’s Awards.

“The meticulous nomination process which spanned over a month saw active participation from Top Management, Corporate Entities, and Individual Clients, all nominating based on the provided criteria.”

The Chairman however noted that some of the Nominations were not considered due to non-compliance with the criteria. I must say that overall it was well received.

She noted, “It is pertinent to inform you that nominees for the various categories went through the mill of due process and screening by the Judges before being Shortlisted for the Voting Process.

“We like the Proverbial “Oliver Twist” humbly appeal to you once again to give this event massive publicity in your usual manner to ensure that people visit the website:

(www.almondinsuranceindustryawards.com) to cast their votes.

“Let me use this medium also to invite you all to the Awards Nite proper on Friday 1st of November 2024 at the Queens Park Events Center where Winners will be announced in an evening of festivities.” Soares added.
