All is getting set for the fifth Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference scheduled to hold in Abuja later this year.

The event usually holds at the Abuja International Conference Centre and this years conference will hold from September 27-29, according to the West African Exhibitions and Conferences, organisers of the expo.

As West Africa’s meeting point for oil and gas professionals, the Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference is estimated to attract over 2 000 conference delegates, exhibitors, speakers and visitors from across the globe.

They will gather under theme, “Industry Reforms and Investment Opportunities.”

The gathering is the largest indigenous and most-established oil and gas event in West Africa, bringing together technical experts, industry leaders, thinkers, investors and Government.

The event discusses global industry trends, issues and new technologies as well as present an opportunity for the country and sub-region to showcase its strength.

Preparations for this year’s edition come on the back of plummeting oil prices in the international markets.
Nigeria is among the leading producers of crude oil in the world.
