Dangote Cement To Hold AGM In April

Dangote Cement Plc has scheduled its Annual General Meeting this April.

The company also said that recommended dividend will be payable on approval of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 19, 2016.

The cement company is expected to release its 2015 audited report and declare dividend today.

“The Board of Dangote Cement Plc met today, February 29, 2016 and approved the audited financial statement for year 2015 for release to the Nigerian Stock Exchange,” the cement manufacturer said in an issuer’s announcement with the NSE.

“Financial statements would be filed with the NSE at 8.00 a.m. on March 1, 2016 and a conference call releasing the result held at 4.00 p.m. on March 1, 2016. Press release to be issued March 1, 2016 after results has been filed,” Dangote Cement added.

Shares of the cement company topped the gainers chart at the close of today’s trading on the local bourse, as it increased five (5) percent; opening N135.00 percent and closed N141.75 per share, gaining N6.75 per share.
