65 Bethel Baptist students still in captivity as 15 regain freedom

Bandits are still keeping 65 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Maraban Damishi, Kaduna State.

The abductors on Saturday released 15 of the students after 48 days in captivity.

Both the Kaduna State Police Command and the State Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, confirmed the situation.

According to Rev. John Hayab, “Fifteen more students were released on Saturday night; and 65 students are still with the bandits,”

Rev. Hayab, who is the state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), confirmed the release of the students in Kaduna on Sunday, August 22.

Also, ASP Mohammed Jalige, spokesperson for the Kaduna State Police Command further corroborated the story.
