Air Peace Limited, has stressed its commitment to social impact and child-centered advocacy by actively participating in two significant Children’s Day 2025 celebrations: the Parkland Amusement Center Children’s Fiesta and Raising Star’s This Ability 4.0.

Both engagements aimed to honor children and foster inclusive environments where every child’s voice is heard and valued.

Celebrating Unity and Joy at Parkland Fiesta

At the Parkland Children’s Fiesta, held at Parkland Amusement Park in Lagos, Air Peace sponsored 40 children from various underprivileged schools, enabling them to enjoy a day filled with engaging activities, games, and refreshments.

The event brought together children from diverse backgrounds, promoting a spirit of unity and happiness. Air Peace’s involvement alongside other prominent brands like Chocolate City, Mavin Records, and Ryno Auto highlighted its dedication to celebrating the aspirations of Nigerian children.

Empowering Every Voice at This Ability 4.0

Concurrently, Air Peace extended its support to Raising Star’s This Ability 4.0, an annual advocacy event held at The Darlington Hall, Ilupeju, Lagos. This event, themed “Empowering Every Voice,” focused on spotlighting and celebrating the abilities of children living with disabilities.

The program featured an art exhibition showcasing the creativity of children with disabilities, a talent competition spanning fashion, music, and visual arts, and a dance competition involving inclusive schools. Additionally, seminars were conducted for parents, advocates, and tutors of children with disabilities, alongside financial grants for youth-led SMEs and young adults with disabilities.

Dignitaries such as Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, and actress Juliana Olayode were in attendance, alongside major brands including the Aliko Dangote Foundation, MILO, BIC Nigeria, IHS, NNPC, Supreme Foods, and Maltina.

Air Peace’s participation at This Ability 4.0 was particularly impactful. The airline presented a cash prize to the winner of the talent showcase, acknowledging excellence and creativity among children with special needs.

An Air Peace representative also delivered a goodwill message, reiterating the company’s dedication to inclusion, equity, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Air Peace Leadership Speaks on Commitment to Children

Mr. Ikenna Nnabuife, Air Peace’s Head of Marketing, emphasized the airline’s unwavering dedication to child-centered initiatives at both events. “We believe that every child, regardless of background or ability, holds immense potential.

By supporting events like these, Air Peace is reinforcing its vision of a society where every young voice matters, every talent is celebrated, and no child is left behind. We’re not just flying aircraft—we’re lifting lives,” he stated.

Though unable to attend in person, Dr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace Limited, shared a heartfelt message on the airline’s decision to prioritize this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

“Children are the soul of any nation’s future. At Air Peace, we recognize that investing in their joy, dignity, and sense of belonging is one of the highest callings of corporate citizenship. Our decision to support both mainstream and inclusive celebrations of Children’s Day is grounded in the belief that true greatness lies in uplifting the vulnerable, empowering the gifted, and building a future where no child feels invisible. This is our pledge—not just to fly, but to foster hope,” Dr. Onyema conveyed.

Air Peace’s active role in these celebrations reflects its core values of compassion, social responsibility, and nation-building.

By celebrating all children, including those with unique challenges, the airline continues to embody a future where inclusion is not merely an idea but a lived reality.

As West Africa’s flag carrier, Air Peace remains committed to not only transporting passengers but also uplifting communities—one child, one voice, and one dream at a time.
