Ambassador Farida Ahmed Calls For Peace, Unity And Greater Giving At AMJON 2026 Awards Ceremony

Ambassador Dr Prevail Farida Olayinka Ahmed, a prominent entrepreneur and humanitarian, has used her appearance at the Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) Annual Conference in Apapa, Lagos, to call for stronger unity, peace, and more intentional charity across all sectors of the economy. In her acceptance speech after receiving an award, she urged businesses, institutions, and individuals to work collaboratively, promote harmony, and deliberately support charitable causes as part of their everyday practice.

She was introduced as a leading global advocate for peace and development, recognised for founding the Peace, Progress and Unity Global Initiative (PPUGI) and the Farida Charity Foundation. She also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Lumiere Link International Nigeria, Chief Executive Officer of LP Events & More, and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of PFA Consulting Firm. As a Global Peace Ambassador and ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, she is also known for promoting men’s mental health and youth development.

Her leadership has earned her fellowships from institutions such as CUPAG USA and the International Leadership and Management Development Institute in the United Kingdom. Through impact‑driven initiatives, she has advanced education, health awareness, and community development across various platforms. A highly sought‑after public speaker, she regularly addresses audiences on leadership, service, and empowerment. Among her many honours, the Golden Role Model Award highlights her dedication to humanitarian service and sustainable development.
