A Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,  for Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra, Micheal Otu, has narrated his ordeal in the hands of suspected thugs who locked him up insisting he must sign election results.

According to him, election did not hold in the local government he presided over because he was locked up in the toilet and forced to sign election papers.

Otu in a media briefing on Sunday, November 7, said, “I was made to sign the election papers under duress;”

“I almost collapsed. I was locked in a toilet. As far as I’m concerned, there was no election in Orumba North.”
