The Police in Anambra State with the support of local vigilance group have arrested a suspected child thief.
According to the Police, “On the 7/4/2020 at about 01am,Police operatives attached to Otoucha Division in collaboration with vigilante group arrested at Ezi-Agulu Otu in Anam East LGA, one Oluchukwu Eze Geogina ‘f’ aged 30years of Mgbo Izaa in Ebonyi State.
“Suspect allegedly stole one Miracle Obidike ‘f’ aged 3years of Nkunando village in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State on the 6/4/2020 at about 7pm.”
The victim who was rescued from the suspect was handed over to the parent and case transferred to the State CID Awka for discreet investigation.
