Anambra Police Commissioner Decorates Promoted Officers

The Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP John B.Abang, on Wednesday 29th July, 2020 decorated One hundred and thirteen, newly promoted Police Officers from the Inspectorate to ASP cadre at the State Command  Headquarters, Awka

The decoration ceremony was done following the recent promotion of 6,601 personnel of the Nigeria Police Force throughout the Federation.

The ceremony was attended by the Command management team and relations of the newly promoted officers.

The promotion is in line with IGP’s determination towards boosting the morale of Police personnel for effective service delivery. It is also based on merit, seniority and dedication to duty.

In his address, Abang, congratulated the beneficiaries on behalf of the Inspector-general of Police *IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, and urged the officers to reciprocate the gesture done to them by redoubling their efforts towards fighting crimes and exhibiting high professionalism, civility to members of the public and respect for human rights.

Meanwhile, among the beneficiaries are ASP Amaoge Ann Okoye In charge of Confidential office,SHQ Awka,ASP Umoru Ejima attached to Department of Operations SHQ Awka and W/ASP Chinenye Ochiobi attached to Aguata Division

Responding on behalf of the  newly promoted officers W/ASP  Amaoge Ann Okoye thanked the IGP and the Police Service Commission for finding them worthy of the promotion and also promised to redouble their efforts towards serving the Nation with integrity.
