Police in Anambra is looking for the parents of a 10 year old child found wondering around.
According to SP Haruna Mohammed PPRO, Anambra State Police, “On the 4/6/2020 one Favour Obu ‘f’ aged about 10 years from Okija in Anambra State was found wandering at Upper Iweka and brought to the State Police Command headquarters Awka by a good samaritan.”
According to the found Child she is in primary three at St. Anthony School Okija and that her aunt which she stays with in Okija allegedly put her inside a car from Okija after which she was dropped in Onitsha .
The Police is seeking information to link her to biological parents who according to the child lives in Igbo-ukwu or her close relatives identify her.
“Anyone with useful information about the found child should report at Okija Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639,” Mohammed appealed.
