Governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano has commissioned an  Ultra-Modern Luxury Mega Centre with about 1.5 million litre gas capacity plant, strategically located between the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) and Anambra State Women Development Centre on Enugu-Onitsha expressway, Awka.

The Mega Centre, which is privately-owned by STANEL Group also unveiled new products/services, which include Stanel Tyres, Stanel Engine Oil, Stanel Gas Cylinders, etc.

The governor, while commending the group for coming back home to put the state on the path of development, assured them and other investors of enabling business environment in the state throughout his tenure as governor of the state.

Before the commissioning, over 1000 widows were given cash donations and material gifts, while 700 youths have been gainfully employed through the philanthropic gesture of Stanel Group.

Earlier, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stanel Group, Mr. Stanley Uzochukwu thanked the governor for the opportunity accorded him to invest in the state

He intimated the gathering that he had similar investment in Jos, Plateau State and Suleja, Niger State, and was about to start the same project in Benue State, pointing out that Benue State Government had already allocated a place for it.

According to him, “today, we are also unveiling our high quality products. These products include Stanel Tyres, Stanel Engine Oil, Stanel Gas Cylinders, etc. I, therefore, enjoy Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of patronising made in Nigeria products, because that is the only way we can grow the economy and make Nigeria great.
