The Anambra State Government has expressed gratitude to God for a life well spent and peaceful death of Princess Felicia Omobola Bakare.

The State Government said death is sad but it is worth praising God when such person lived exemplary life, touch lives and transits at a ripe age like Mama Omobola Bakare.

In a condolence message by the State Commissioner of Information and Public Enlightenment, C-Don Adinuba and addressed to her only daughter and son-in law Mr and Mrs Chika and Yemisi Margaret Izuora, the Government said she was a true and detrabilised Nigerian who allowed her daughter to marry an Igboman despite seeming ethnic intolerance among Nigerians.

“Two of you lived admirably, together with your siblings . Your children are well behaved and doing well in various areas.

The death of a mother is very painful regardless of age. We are delighted that Mama brought you up in the finest Christian tradition and you are following her footsteps.

May the Angels of God receive her soul and may God console you and the rest of Bakare family, the Commissioner prayed.
