Anambra State Photographers Association Elect New Officers

The Association of Professional Photographers and Commercial Screen User and Video Anambra State (APPCSUVAS) has elected their new leaders to pilots the affairs of the body for the next four years.

The election which was peaceful, free, fair and credible was conducted under option A4 voting method where the voters filed behind their choice candidates and counted by the electoral officer.

According to the result of the as announced by the Chairman of the electoral committee, Mr. Chukwuemeka Achionu emerged unopposed President of the Union.

Other new executive include; Ifeanyi Emmanuel Iwuchukwu (Vice President), Vitalis Okoli (Secretary), Uchechukwu Otum (Assistant Secretary), Felix Amah (Financial Secretary), Mario Onyekwere (Treasurer), Promise Nwaiwu (PRO), Promise Chukwuedozie (Provost) and Mrs. Patience Anyim (Director of Social).

In his acceptance speech, the president Mr. Achionu thanked the members for their support and the opportunity given to him to serve the association.

He promised that he would not disappoint the union members in the discharge of his duties but will lift the union to the enviable height.

Achionu commended the past leaders for their efforts to carry the union on to the present time and assured that he will continue where they stopped to ensure that the welfare of the members are well taken care of.
