Anambra State Police Collaborates With NSCDC To Fight Crime

The Anambra State Police Command and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC have agreed to work together to fight crime in the state. 
The agreement was reached when the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP John B. Abang,  recieved in audience the new Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Anambra State Command Mr. David Urbanus BILLE who paid him a  courtesy visit at the  State Police Command headquarters Awka. 
 
The Commandant was warmly received by the Commissioner of Police and issues bordering on synergy and other Security challenges in the State were extensively discussed between the two security heads. 
 
Meanwhile, both agencies have resolved to work harmoniously and enhance existing cordial relationships among  the Security agencies in order to promote safety and Security in the State. 
 
Consequently, the CP equally recieved in audience members of the Academic  staff union of Polytechnic(ASUP) Oko, Oko chapter led by the Chairman Comrade Igbokwe Samuel who paid him a familiarization visit and assured the CP of their maximum support towards enhancing security in the State. 
 
Furthermore, the CP equally met with Anambra  State tipper association in his office as part of his efforts towards finding lasting solutions to the lingering feud between the association and the State internally generated revenue officials through alternative dispute resolution.
