The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ in Niger has commended the wife of the Niger Gov. Dr Amina Bello for appointing Hajiya Rabi Bello, chairperson of the association, as Senior Special Adviser Media and Publicity.
A statement signed by the Secretary of the association, Mrs Rita Durumi in Minna on Friday, appreciated the governor’s wife for finding the chairperson worthy of the appointment.
The association promised to continue to support the activities of governor, especially in the areas of women’s development and girl child education.
It congratulated the chairperson and urged her to discharge her duties with all sense of responsibility.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bello is a staff with the Niger State Radio in the editorial department who was elected chairperson of NAWOJ in 2020.(NAN)
