President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned the death of seven persons related to a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Babangida Nguroje.
Buhari expressed his grief in a condolence message signed by his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
Nguroje lost two of his sisters, Hadiza and Zainab in a ghastly road accident, including Hadiza’s husband and four kids.
Buhari, who commiserated with Nguroje, prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
The statement read in part: “I am lost for words to describe such multiple deaths in a single car accident in which family members perished. I received the news with deep shock and grief…And I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with you at this trying and painful moment.”
