CIIN Rewards Winners During Insurance Week Celebration

Individuals who made significant contributions to insurance growth have been rewarded by Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

The maiden edition of Insurance Week, a landmark event in Nigeria’s insurance industry, featured a series of events and competitions, with exciting rewards for winners. The event also honoured distinguished individuals and organisations for their outstanding contributions to the industry. The week-long event took place from June 28 to July 4, 2025.

The CIIN Year 2025/2026 Ambassador Competition winner is Sanusi, Muheez Ishola, Noor Takaful Insurance Limited.

The 1st Runner Up – Adesina, Olamilekan Waris, Noor Takaful Insurance Limited

2nd Runner Up – Popoola, Fatihat Adedoyin, Linkage Assurance Plc, were recognized at the event.

List of awardeees at 2025 Insurance Week Grand Finale

Hackathon Competition, include, First Position – Insurevate; Toluwanii Oguntoye, Odunayo Ojeremi, Adaramola Simeon, Chukwuebuka Arueze and Tobi Emmanuel, while Second Position are Team Aegis; Feyisayo Yusuf, Tolulope Ajao, Emmanuel Idumebor, Adelani Babatunde, Umamah Tajudeen and Balogun Sulaimon.

Third Position, The Assured Team are Delight Obi, Victoria John, Esther Akuyi, Mohammed Konateh and Tobiloba Ogunbanjo.

Best Supporting MDA: Code of Conduct Tribunal

Best Insurance Student at WAEC Examination: Miss. Mogaji, Yetunde Amunat

Teacher of the Award-Winning Students: Mrs. Egbuonu Chizoba

Top Six (6) Secondary Schools with the highest numbers of Student Enrolment in Insurance:
Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu, Ogun State.
Ijaye Ojokoro Senior High Second, Ojokoro, Ogun State.
Araromi Secondary Secondary School, Iganmu, Lagos State.
Egba High School Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Iganmode Grammar School 2, Ota, Ogun State.
Iganmode Grammar School, Ota, Ogun State.

State with the Highest Number of Students’ Enrolment in Insurance (WAEC): Ogun State.
