The Congress of Nigerian Maritime Media Practitioners (CONMMEP) is set to host its 2025 Annual Workshop on December 10 at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.
The event, themed “Empowering Host Communities through Strategic Partnerships,” aims to foster innovative approaches to building stronger, sustainable maritime communities.
The workshop will bring together notable guests, industry leaders, and maritime stakeholders for insightful discussions on enhancing host community capacity and promoting sectoral development. The Royal Father, Oba Oyekunle Amodu Tijani Oluwa, Olu of Iwa and Apapa Kingdom, will grace the occasion and help set the stage for meaningful dialogue.
Hon. Dr. Kalejaiye A. Paul will deliver the keynote address, focusing on the vital role of strategic partnerships, while guest speaker Dr. Eugene Nweke will share best practices for collaboration between industry players and host communities.
Special Chief Guests of Honour include Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, alongside key local government and legislative representatives. Additional distinguished attendees from the maritime sector and government will further enrich the workshop’s discussions.
