Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said that a Polish national was among nine patients discharged from the state’s isolation facilities.

In an update information issued by the governor, “9 more persons; 5 females and 4 males including 1 foreign national – a polish, have been discharged to join the society.

“The patients; 5 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 4 from Onikan Isolation centre were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities is now 107.

“As our front line health workers records successes in the battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to safe at home, practice Social distancing and adopt highest possible personal and hand hygiene. This is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection.” Sanwo-Olu said.
