The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC Thursday said that Nigeria has recorded 108 new cases of COVID-19.
According to the NCDC, seven states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja accounted for the 108 new cases, which has brought the total number of COVID-19 infections in the country to 981.
Lagos State had the highest number of infections with 78 cases; 14 in the FCT; five in Ogun State; and four in Gombe State.
Borno State accounted for three, Akwa Ibom State two and Kwara and Plateau States one each.
So far, 31 deaths had been recorded from the COVID-19 infection in the country, while 197 had been successfully treated and discharged.
