With the launch of an innovative interactive platform, called Max Chatbox, customers of Custodian Investment Plc, the parent body of Custodian and Allied Insurance limited and Custodian Life Assurance Limited will have unhindered access to interface with officials of the firm.
The new innovation and the first in a non banking sector will enable customers to interact with the underwriter 24/7.
This new innovation according to Oladele Akinsanya, the head of retail division of the Organisation, is a tool that will drive awareness, improve insurance solution and also optimize and deliver improvement in their services to enable customers understand and trust them, adding that the innovation which was born out of the desire to make the firm’s products and services available at peoples convenient and it is the first of its kind in the Nigerian insurance industry.
This innovation was designed to create awareness as well as equip the firm’s teaming customers of easy, fast and suitable channels to interact with the company.
He said that the new technology, Max Chatbox is social media driven, and products can be purchased, insurance can be renewed, claims can be paid and claims status can also be checked online by interacting with Max on Facebook, Instagram or Telegram. It has the capacity of linking customers to various policies being offered by the company.
Also speaking at the Unveiling of the innovation in Lagos, the Chief Technology Officer of the company, Esomchi Nwofor said that all a customer need is to log on to the Custodian account from any part of the world and search for Max, and open a conversation with him, from there, it will lead the customer into filling a policy proposal form through question and answer after which payment will be made and certificate issued.
” First and foremost we are looking for a channel to interact with Custodian. We are proud to say that we are the first in the non banking sector to deploy artificial intelligent to help customers find out about our products and services”. he added.
He explained further that Max can also be used to predict football challenges in the ongoing World Cup and other competitions too, stressing that Custodian And Allied Insurance is trying to engage consumers and make insurance interesting.
Akinsanya however explained that Max does not do comprehensive Insurance due to the physical Inspection of the vehicle , but can get customers details, generate a code and fix a date for the physical inspection of the vehicle, adding that custodian will continue to engage the customers after business has been established by Max, and that a mobile app will be released soon.
