The late Prince General Adeyinka Adekunle, popularly called General Prince Adekunle’s band former member and lead guitarist, Idowu Adedayo Kujore otherwise called Dayo Kujore has described his late boss as a pleasant, accommodating and meek fellow.
Eulogizing Adekunle’s virtue, Kujore said his death is painful and colossal as he (Adekunle) gloriously contributed to who he is today and will be eternally missed.
Speaking further, “I enjoyed every bit of the three years spent working with him as his lead guitarist from 1973 to 1975, he was a great musician, ”Kujore posited.

Adekunle, 75, died penultimate Friday, September 01, 2017after spending about three weeks at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta. Born on 22 October 1942, the late Adekunle, whose music held sway in the 60’s and late 70’s, influenced the career of popular musicians such as Sir Shina Peters and Segun Adewale.
