The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment , My Okechukwu Enelamah and others stakeholders are expected to speak at Commerce & Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) public lecture, theme: “Beyond 2019: Leveraging Politics for Nigeria’s Industrial Transformation”.
The forum is an annual workshop of CICAN that is organised every year as part of the association’s efforts to contribute to the development of the nation’s economy.
The keynote address is expected to be deliver by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah.
Experts in the real sector will gather on Friday, September 21, at LCCI Multipurpose Hall, Ikeja to discuss on how to make the industry contribute more to the growth of the economy , most especially as the country approach 2019.
Also, three key stakeholders comprising a highly experienced investment banker and Managing Director, Bank of Industry, Mr. Kayode Pitan; an Economist and Director General of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Mr. Muda Yusuf and Director General of Industrial Training Fund, Sir Joseph Ari are to speaks on different topics.
The program will also feature exhibition, award for outstanding personnel who have promoted the real sector in their capacity, among others.
The workshop will be declared open by the Executive Governor of Lagos State Government, His Excellency, Governor Akinwumi Ambode .
Other dignitaries expected at the forum are: the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Mr. Olusegun Awolowo, President, Manufacturers Association of Manufacturers (MAN), Dr Frank Udemba Jacobs (MON), President , Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Mr Babatunde Paul Ruwase, President, Nigeria Chamber of Commerce , Industry and Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Iyalode Alaba Lawson, among others.
