FAAN Installs Equipment To Ease Operational Challenges At Lagos, Abuja Airports

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has commenced installation of newly acquired equipments aimed at address challenges in airport operations and facilitation management systems.

Affected airports are the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The FAAN, said that additional 15 security screening machines have been procured for immediate deployment to the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, which have been installed already.

Because of inconveniences the process will lead to, the Agency is appealing to airlines, passengers and other stakeholders for understanding as the equipment required for addressing these challenges have arrived Nigeria and are already being installed.
