The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, (FAAN), Engr. Saleh Dunoma has solicited the continued support of the Airport Police Command and other security agencies at the airport to ensure the safety and security of all airport users.

Engr. Saleh made the remark when the newly appointed Commissioner of Airport Police Command, Mrs V. N. Menta paid him a courtesy visit at the Authority’s headquarters.

He added that FAAN would be working closely with the police in order to sustain the level of security required by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) for operations.
He further suggested that proactive measures be taken by security agencies in finding solutions to security threats at our airport.

Engr. Dunoma also said that there was need for collaboration between FAAN, the police and other security agencies at the airports across the country to sustain the existing level of security alertness at the airport.

Mrs Menta in her remarks assured the Authority of maximum cooperation from the police in maintaining law and order in the airport in order to ensure the safety and security of all airport users.
