Fadipe-Davis Joins POCACOV As An International Ambassador

Tai Fadipe-Davis has joined the ongoing Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices (POCACOV).

The campaign is a community driven program and public relations tool of the Nigeria Police Force working with different stakeholders through advocacy, awareness creation and sensitization, reorientation, mentoring and also galvanizing their support to resolve issues associated with cultism, substance and drug abuse, violent behaviours, sexual and gender based violence and other vices in our communities.

According to POCACOV’s National Coordinator, CSP Ebere Amaraizu, Tai Fadipe-Davis is now an International Ambassador of POCACOV to help drive down the message to further cut the supply chains and conveyor belts of cultism and other vices through popular participation which encourages mobilization, participation, partnership and problem solving (MPPP’S).

Responding on why he identified with POCACOV, expressed delight with the initiative which he said, it’ss coming from a good direction from the Nigeria Police Force and however, commended the Nigeria Police Force for coming up with such a wonderful initiative which will constantly be engaging with its publics.

He noted that the instrumentality of POCACOV is in line with the community based crime prevention measures which he as one with the experience of community based crime prevention strategies based on his security service in United Kingdom such as POCACOV.

“In my community, POCACOV Taekwondo Kiddies Program, POCACOV Self Discovery, POCACOV School Chess Game and POCACOV Youth Choir group for value reorientation amongst others.

He added that these are measures of involved in community based crime prevention strategies which he constantly has seen with POCACOV and pointing out that it is being utilized responsibly to portray responsible behaviours that will correct percieved erroneous and negative image impressions and set a positive direction.

POCACOV public driven is firstly a brilliant approach by the Nigeria Police Force. It will present the average law abiding citizen the opportunity to participate as a policing stakeholders in such manner to relate with, support and by consequence, promote activities lined up by the Nigeria Police Force through POCACOV.

He however enjoined all meaningful citizens of the country to join hands with the Nigeria Police Force through the ongoing campaign in order to save Nigerian youths from the claws of cultism, substance and drug abuse, violent behaviours and other vices thereby making our communities safe, peaceful and secured.
