Fanwo Congratulates Hon. Olawumi Jacob On His Tenure Midterm

The Commissioner for Information and Communications in Kogi State, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has congratulated Hon. Olawumi Jacob, the Member representing Mopamuro State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, on reaching the midterm of his tenure.

In a statement issued in Lokoja by the Commissioner’s Information Officer, Mr Segun Adegboyega, Hon. Fanwo described Hon. Olawumi Jacob as a “dedicated and people-oriented legislator” whose contributions to the growth and development of his constituency and the state at large have been commendable.

“Hon. Olawumi Jacob has distinguished himself as a voice for his people, principled, proactive, and passionate about the welfare of Mopamuro Constituents,” Fanwo said. “As he marks the halfway point of his tenure, it is important to acknowledge his efforts, especially in legislative duties and in facilitating development projects to his constituency.”

The Information Commissioner also commended Hon. Jacob for his active participation in the passage of critical bills that have strengthened governance and supported the state’s development agenda.

“His work at the Assembly has shown maturity, responsibility, and an unwavering focus on the progress of Kogi State. The people of Mopamuro can be proud of the quality representation he continues to provide,” he added.

Fanwo encouraged the lawmaker to sustain the momentum as he enters the second half of his tenure, urging him to deepen engagement with constituents and continue to work collaboratively with stakeholders for the good of Kogi State.

“On behalf of the good people of Mopamuro Local Government Area and the good people of Kogi State , I congratulate Hon. Olawumi Jacob on this midterm milestone and wish him continued success in service to the people,” the statement concluded.
