Fidelity Bank Plc said that it was perfecting arrangements to take its “Get Alert in Millions Reloaded” campaign to Ibadan and Abeokuta to strengthen financial inclusion.

Nnamdi Okonkwo, Fidelity Bank Managing Director, said this at the 2nd Prize presentation of the bank’s “Get Alert in Millions Promo Reloaded” in Lagos.

Okonkwo said the bank in 2018 would take the promo campaign outside Lagos starting with Ibadan, and Abeokuta.

Okonkwo, who was represented by Chijioke Ugochukwu, the bank’s Executive Director, Shared Services & Products, said the campaign would be taken to other cities in the country.

He said: “What we are doing is to spread the message of financial inclusion across the country.

“We still have outstanding N100 million to give away to customers and potential customers.’’

Okonkwo said that customers and potential customers should not allow the opportunity to slip away.

He said that the initiative was the seventh in the series of promos organised by the bank to reward customers for their unflinching loyalty and patronage and to support the Central Bank of Nigeria financial inclusion policy.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that 13 customers of the bank on December 12 won N19 million in the second monthly draw of the promo.

NAN also reports that apart from the monthly draw, bi-monthly star prize of three million naira each were won by Abdullateef Gaffar of Idumagbo branch Lagos and Osondu Udechukwu of Kachia Road, Kaduna Branch respectively.

Other lucky cash prize winners for the monthly draw included: Emmanuel Ehizibue and Chris Oziogu (South-South), Ethel Duru and Nwosu Uchenna (South-East).

Mbui Uso, Olofe Ayo (South-West) and Chizoba Nwaoba won one million naira each, while Samuel Oruchalu got N2 million from Lagos region, among other winners.

Alhaji Abdullateef Gaffar, a customer with Idumagbo branch, who won three million naira, said that it was a special gift this season.

Gaffar called on other banks to emulate the initiative of giving back to the customers and society.

He also commended the management and staff of the bank for their effort in maintaining efficient service delivery.
