Liverpool has announced that forward Roberto Firmino has agreed a new long-term deal at Anfield.
The Brazil international joined the Reds from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015 and has made 140 appearances thus far for the Merseysiders, scoring 50 goals.
Firmino, whose existing deal ran until 2020, has been rewarded for a fruitful season which has seen him score 27 goals, his most prolific campaign to date.
“It was an easy decision,” the 26-year-old told the official Liverpool site on Sunday.
