The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC in Anambra State has explained the cause of auto crash involving a Mack Truck with registration number KJA699AA, laden with petrol.
According to Pascal A. Anigbo, Sector Public Education Officer, the accident
was recorded at about 12.30pm today Sunday 19 April, 2020 at Nsugbe 2nd gate, along Nteje-Nsugbe-Otuocha road.
Anigbo said the crash was caused by Loss of Control. The driver of the truck, Uchenna Ibeh was the only victim. No injury and no death recorded.
“The FRSC rescue team from Nteje Unit Command managed the traffic, while the product (fuel) was being transferred to another truck. The fire service and Policemen where also on ground during the rescue operation.” he said.
The Sector Commander of the Corps Anambra State, CC Andrew A. Kumapayi admonished drivers to always drive with utmost concentration and warns them against driving when fatigued.
