A gas explosion near the city of Port Harcourt has killed four people, local police said Friday, APA reports quoted Xinhua.
A local panel beater working at his workshop and three bystanders lost their lives in the incident late thursday,Rivers state police spokesman, Ahmad Muhammad told Xinhua via telephone.
The incident occurred while the local panel beater was trying to refill a gas cylinder which suddenly exploded and wreaked havoc, the police said.
Bodies of the four victims have been deposited at a morgue, the police added.
