Great Nigeria Insurance Plc, has modified re-launched its retail insurance products to deepen insurance penetration.
The products according to the firm, were borne out of the need to assist policyholders and those at the grassroots to mitigate risks at pocket friendly rate.
The company said, “GNI Motor Flex, Great Savers Delight, GNI Fireproof and Personal Accident Insurance have been duly approved and certified by the industry apex regulator, the National Insurance Commission.
“These products were borne out of the need to offer more benefits to policyholders at inexpensive cost especially during this current economic situation in the country.”
The Managing Director/Chief Executive, GNI, Mrs Cecilia Osipitan, said GNI Motor Flex, Fireproof and Personal Accident retail products were designed to protect the lives and properties of both the insured and the third party in crisis in form of monetary compensation.
The Great Savers Delight, she said, was an investment linked savings plan developed to promote savings culture.
The Corporate Communications, Brand Management and Customer Service Manager, Ms Oyinkansola Sobande, said that the company was committed to driving the retail business, having identified the segment of the market as a veritable means of improving insurance market penetration in the country.
The Head, Corporate Services, Mrs Kofoworola Oshiga, stated that the products were specially developed to meet customers’ specific needs at highly competitive rates.
