Orijin Celebrates and Shapes Cultural Expression at Osun-Osogbo Festival 2026

Guinness Nigeria Reinforces Its Commitment to Culture Through Orijin At Osun-Osogbo 2026

Guinness Nigeria Plc reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating and preserving Nigeria’s rich culture following the successful conclusion of the 2026 Osun-Osogbo Festival, where Orijin, its proudly African brand rooted in tradition and cultural expression, played a leading role in bringing the festival experience to life.

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage cultural event, the annual Osun-Osogbo Festival attracted thousands of worshippers, tourists, culture enthusiasts and dignitaries from across Nigeria and beyond. This year’s celebration provided a vibrant platform for showcasing the enduring legacy of Yoruba spirituality, creativity and tradition, while creating meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange and community connection.

As a brand inspired by African roots and authenticity, Orijin’s presence at the festival reflected its ongoing commitment to celebrating, amplifying and shaping cultural experiences that resonate with consumers. Through immersive activations and engaging experiences, the brand created memorable moments that connected attendees to the richness of African culture.

Commenting on the successful partnership, Rotimi Odusola, Corporate Relations and Legal Director, Guinness Nigeria Plc, said:

“The Osun-Osogbo Festival remains one of Nigeria’s most treasured cultural assets, and Guinness Nigeria is proud to continue supporting its growth and preservation. Through Orijin, a brand deeply inspired by African heritage, we are able to create experiences that celebrate our traditions while keeping them relevant and meaningful for future generations. Our commitment is not only to preserve culture, but also to help create platforms where culture can continue to thrive.”

The Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, Larooye II, commended Guinness Nigeria and Orijin for their sustained commitment to the festival.

“We appreciate Guinness Nigeria and Orijin for their unwavering support of the Osun-Osogbo Festival over the years. Their partnership demonstrates a genuine appreciation of our cultural heritage and contributes meaningfully to the continued growth of the festival. Such collaborations help preserve our traditions while enhancing Osun-Osogbo’s standing as a globally recognized cultural and tourism destination.”

Throughout the festival, Orijin brought culture to life through its vibrant Orijin Village, which welcomed hundreds of festival-goers and served as a hub for music, entertainment and cultural celebration. The space came alive each night with performances from leading artists, including a headline appearance by Fuji legend Obesere, creating unforgettable experiences that celebrated African music, creativity and community.

Beyond entertainment, the activation reflected Orijin’s belief in the power of culture to connect people and inspire authentic self-expression. By creating a platform where tradition and contemporary culture intersect, the brand reinforced its role as a champion of African originality and cultural pride.

As Guinness Nigeria continues to invest in initiatives that celebrate Nigeria’s diversity and cultural richness, its enduring partnership with the Osun-Osogbo Festival reflects a shared commitment with Orijin to preserving heritage, strengthening communities and ensuring that cultural traditions remain vibrant for generations to come.
