The Lagos State Government is systematically eliminating Okada business as it announced extension of its ban to four more local government areas and five Local Council Development Areas.
The move aims at curtailing the unruly and sometimes criminal activities of the riders.
Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has directed immediate compliance and enforcement of the ban, which starts from September 1st in these local councils.
The additional councils are, Kosofe Local Government, Ikosi-Isherri LCDA, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Isolo LCDA, Shomolu Local Government, Bariga LCDA, Mushin Local Government and Odi-Olowo LCDA.
