On 17th November, 2020, it became evident that Oyo state has thrown open applications into it’s civil service commission, weeks after thousands have been absorbed by its teaching service commission.
However according to lamentations of those who have attempted to be absorbed by the commission previously and the investigation conducted, it is appalling that vying to take up positions or start a career with the commission will be coming at a price.
Despite meeting the requirements, which are; “a bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines of the Social Sciences, humanities, Law, Agricultural Science, Accountancy and other related fields, a non-refundable examination fee of N7,500 (Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira) is to paid into Account No. 0120426092 Wema Bank Plc mokola, Ibadan, for the collection application form in Room 09 of the commission from Tuesday 17th November to Thursday 10th December, 2020.”
Past questions will still be sold to unemployed youths trying to get this job at the sum of #2, 500 at Total filling station around Oritamefa Baptist Model School, while lesson charges will be fixed at #10, 000 per month, with no guarantee of securing the job at the long run.
Subjects to sit for comprise:
. English Language (Easy/Comprehension)
. Logical Thinking
. Basic Statistics; and
. General Knowledge Papers I & II (Essay Objective)
While examination commences from Thursday, 28th – Friday, 29th January, 2021 at Government College, Apata, Ibadan.
