The defendant, who resides at Aisami Quarters in Kano metropolis is facing a count charge of culpable homicide.
The prosecutor, Mr. Khalifa Hashim had earlier told the court that the accused person committed the offence on August 27 at Aisami Quarters in the metropolis. “In the process the defendant stabbed the victim on his chest with a knife. As a result, he sustained serious injury. The victim was rushed to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital Kano, where he was confirmed dead,” he said.
