Katsina Police Arrests Cattle Rustler, Recover Stolen Cows

A Police Patrol team led by DPO Faskari, in response to a distress call at Kamfanin Mailafiya village, Faskari LGA of Katsina state that unknown hoodlums have entered into the residence of one Saidu Ibrahim, m, aged 40yrs of the same address and rustled his two cows.

The team succeeded in arresting one Ibrahim alias “Dange”, m, aged 20yrs of Dajin Ali Kere, Faskari in possession of the two cows.

Police said the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime along with two others at large and investigation is ongoing.

Also, the Command arrested one Mudassiru Tanimu, m, aged 18yrs of Barhim village, Batagarawa LGA of Katsina state who conspired with one Nafi’u Umar, m, aged 18yrs of the same address (now at large) and prepared a mixture of drug concoction which was administered to people in a wedding event celebration.

Consequently, one Iliyasu Musa, m, aged 25yrs and Rabi’u Sani, m, aged 16yrs of the same address drank the concoction and went into frenzy of unconsciousness.

Victims were rushed to General Hospital, Katsina were the former was confirmed dead while the later in a state of deep intoxication.

The suspect had confessed to the crime and investigation is ongoing.
