Katsina Police Command has denied report of Daily Trust newspaper publication of 24/07/2020 in which reported that the Command killed 57 bandits.
Spokesman of the Command Gambo Isah, who made the denial said the Newspaper quoted him out of context.
“I wish to debunk that statement as not correctly reported. I invited the Press to brief them on the arrest of a housewife that faked the kidnapp of her daughter in order to frame her husband’s fiancee and ex-wife.
If I have such great news of killing of 57 bandits, it would have been reflected in my Press release which was shared to all the journalists that attended the briefing. Kindly disregard it as it is not true, please., said Isah.
